God is Our Shield

God is our fortress, strength and shield
He is our weapon that we wield.

For on our weakest day,
All we have to do is pray

And to our sides God will send
An Angel with a helping hand to lend.

When we're feeling wickedly lazy
Or so hectic we're going crazy

Our Savior will come and assist
Without a single heart beat missed

When all of Satan's evil forces attack
One Angle is all that's needed to send them back

Yet God loves us humans so
The number of angles grow and grow

God is our protector, savior and friend
His undeserved love has no end

When we're scared, lonely or afriad
Jesus will be our friend, without having even prayed

God will be our fortress, strength and shield
To no power shall we ever yield
