Through the Storm, of winds and gales so strong
God has seen fit to carry us along
Along a path as old as time, one that's very long
A path known to us humans as life
with all it's pain, lies and strife
But God chose to prevent Death's knife
The winds may howl and the trees may creak
Our mouths may never another word speak
But through the storm God we shall seek
God might protect us today
Or in a grave we might lay
But the Lord can hold anything at bay
Although this world is out to drag us down
This life is nothing more than a quick frown
But through the storm God's promise of heaven is sound
