A Praise from Psalms and a Promise from Joel

Let's open our Bibles to Psalm 103:1-5. This poem by David shows his awe for God and His creations. I don't know about you, but I love nature. I'm amazed as I squint at the smallest flowers that honey bees would blow away with a beat of their wings. It looks like David loved nature too.

God loves blessing us. It's just that, sometimes, we fall into Satan's snare and begin to think that God won't listen to a sinner's prayer. But that's not true. All we have to do is ask, and God will answer. Just sometimes, in a few circumstances, the answer is no.

Now flip a few books through your Bible to Joel 3:4. This is one of my favorite verses. It may seem like a "bad" promise, but if you're on God's side (really, He's on yours), no one can stop you. This verse shows that God is truly powerful, because at the time it was written, Philistia and Tyre where some of the most robust nations out there.

I hope this post has deepened your personal relationship with our Heavenly Father.
