A Hiking Poem

This week me and my mom went for a hike. I composed this poem on the way:

"As the shadow of a cloud moves across the forest, I sit in awe and the silence.
The birds are quiet as they enjoy the absence of man.
Trees sway in the cool breeze and a butterfly floats by.
A leaf waves to me as it falls to the ground and rock tumbles down the slope.
I praise God that he has saved a place were every thing is still."
